About Me
I have dreamt of writing children's books for as long as I can remember. When I was five years old, my local library allowed me to borrow a maximum of eight books at a time. Until I was old enough to drive, I begged my parents or older brothers to take me to the library once a week. Each time I borrowed and returned eight books. And it never felt like enough. Thus my passion for reading began, followed soon thereafter by my love of writing. Publishing children's picture books is very high on my bucket list.
Fast forward a few (or more) years, and I am now happily married with four children of my own (one of whom I chopped out of the picture on the right. Sorry, Meg!).
I have a bachelor's degree in Marketing and worked in the financial services industry for 29 years.
I am an educator of Pre-K and Kindergarten children. Additionally, I'm an evaluator in the 4H program for children's public presentations, coaching the little presenters to be the best they can be . I'm also a proud member of the SCBWI and Children's Writers of the Hudson Valley.
